We were thrilled on Sunday to host Joe Biden during his last trip to L.A. as our Vice President. While the purpose of the trip was to support Mayor Eric Garcetti, we made sure to seize the opportunity and make sure Joe knows just how much we’ll miss him.
More than 1,500 Angelenos answered our call to add their names to our card saying “thanks,” and more than 300 people turned out to our event to personally thank him. Joe has touched us all during his life of public service, including his 36 years as a U.S. Senator. And as Vice President, along with the incomparable Dr. Jill Biden, he been a strong partner in Mayor Garcetti’s work to raise LA's minimum wage, deploy clean technologies and provide free community college tuition to our graduates.
While this was his last trip as our Vice President, we hope to see him again soon and see him often.
